EMDR Intensives
Lasting Change. Faster.
What is EMDR Intensive Therapy?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from trauma, anxiety, distressing events and other emotional challenges. EMDR intensives offer a powerful alternative to traditional weekly sessions by providing focused, accelerated healing.
EMDR Intensives May Be a Good Fit If One or More of These Resonate With You:
I understand my patterns, but I still feel stuck in them
Certain memories, triggers, or emotions feel just as intense as ever
I’ve done therapy in the past, but something deeper hasn’t fully shifted
I’m in therapy now and my trauma may be getting in the way of deeper progress
I am a healthcare worker or first responder and haven’t had the space to process what I carry
I am ready for a more focused, intentional approach to healing

Frequently Asked Questions:
I’ve tried therapy before, what’s different about this?
If you’ve been in therapy before and still feel stuck, you’re not alone. Many people gain insight and awareness but don’t experience the deeper emotional shift they’re hoping for. EMDR works different’y. Rather than only talking through your experiences, EMDR helps your brain fully process what’s been unresolved - so those memories and triggers no longer feel as intense or reactive. In an intensive format, we’re able to stay with the work long enough to move through it more completely - without stopping and restarting each week. This often allows for deeper, more meaningful progress in a shorter period of time.
What are the costs associated with EMDR Intensive therapy?
EMDR Intensives are offered as customized packages based on your needs and goals.
Can I use Insurance?
I am contracted with Blue Cross Blue Shield and they will cover the first hour of each day’s session only. Clients are responsible for the full rate after that. For all other insurances, you can reach out to your insurances directly to see if they offer reimbursement.
Can I use my HSA/FSA card?
Yes!
What are the benefits of EMDR Intensive therapy rather than weekly sessions?
Weekly therapy can be incredibly helpful - but it often involves stopping just as things begin to surface, then picking back up days later. With an intensive, we’re able to:
Stay with the work long enough to process it more completely
Maintain momentum with fewer interruptions
Go deeper in a more focused, intentional way.
Many clients find this approach helps move through what’s been stuck more efficiently - and with greater clarity and relief.
How Do I know if I’m ready for EMDR Intensive Therapy?
You don’t have to figure this out alone. We’ll explore your history, goals, and current capacity during a consultation to make sure this approach feels appropriate, safe, and supportive for you.
